This project entailed the complete re-cladding of a deteriorated 1970s office building in Wayland, Massachusetts, and the construction of a new central lobby area. Several new tenant office spaces were also completed. The project used an insulated cladding system with banding and rustication introduced to work with the low horizontal design of the existing structure. A structural steel and glass canopy was developed to provide a clear entry to the building, which before had been ambiguous. The lobby was designed to work axially with the new canopy, using simple materials in a detailed manner. Additionally, Meyer & Meyer has worked on several tenant spaces within the building.
