Gallagher Transportation Parking Terminal
Meyer & Meyer was commissioned to design this 520-car, three-level parking structure as part of an ongoing relationship with the Lowell Regional Transportation Authority. The program requirements were to design a facility along Thorndike Street and Terminal Drive that met the necessary parking requirements along with tenant spaces for retail or office use. It was also requested that the project have a higher level of design and exterior detail to avoid the appearance of typical parking garages. Tenants include a day care center, fast food chain, coffee shop, and offices.
