Meyer & Meyer designed a breakfast and dayroom to seamlessly integrate with the rest of this early 20th-century Georgian home in a historic area of Newton, Mass. This was achieved by designing the room as a pavilion overlooking the owner’s beautifully landscaped gardens. A covered side-yard entrance and foyer were also part of the program. The project features custom limestone and brickwork, rolled copper roofing, interior bead-board ceilings, and custom wood windows and doors.
